Sky High Confessional #23 - Behind the Content Creator Lifestyle

It's been a few weeks since my last one of these posts and during this time I've been travelling aggressively. 🥵 This has honestly reminded me how this lifestyle is both an absolute privilege… and a lot more intense than people probably realise. So thought I'd share a few of my recent reflections.

I’m so grateful that I get to travel the world, create content, get to know people from different countries and have experiences I never could’ve imagined a few years ago. There are moments where I genuinely stop and think “wow… this is my life now.” ✈️

But being constantly on the move also comes with a side people don’t really see. You’re always adapting. New cities, new beds 👀, random routines, trying to find decent food, gyms, somewhere to work, remembering which side of the street people walk (& drive on 😅) and after a while you do start missing the little comforts of home and stability. I can't even explain how grateful I was to arrive home as I was last week!

And then there’s the people side of it too. Sometimes you work with creators and there’s instant chemistry, amazing energy and everything just clicks naturally. Those moments are magic honestly. But other times… people are flaky, schedules don’t align, priorities are different, or you realise not everyone moves through life with the same level of care or respect for others. For every finished collab that you see here each week - there's _quite _a bit of grit and plenty that haven't come off.

Finally, there is a brutal reality of making a living in a fast-moving online world.

This week my Instagram got deleted again... It's my fourth account, and unlike the previous ones, this time there was no flagged posts, no warnings, nothing. Just gone overnight.

That’s probably the strangest part of this career sometimes. You can spend months or years building something, pouring energy into it, building connections and momentum… and ultimately it all exists on platforms you don’t actually control.

I still love what I do. Truly. It’s given me freedom, confidence, experiences and opportunities I’ll always be grateful for ❤️, plus you all- my fans who actually make this all possible - I'm truly grateful for you every day. Thanks for being here and supporting me through all the chaos, adventures and turbulence along the way ✈️
