Sky-High Confessional #11 How I chose the handle AussieThongBro (and why I’ve changed it!)

My whole OnlyFans journey began fairly innocently just over three years ago. I’d been posting on Instagram for a little while, nothing wild, just pics of my food, some travel snaps, and the occasional gym selfie thirst trap. And then came the thongs…

I’ve talked before about how I got into thongs, so I won’t rehash that here, but those thong pics (and the response from their admirers!) were really the spark that kicked all of this off.

I wanted to include “Aussie” because I’m proud of our country (even if we’re far from perfect), and because it instantly gave people an idea of the kind of content to expect. At the time, I was blissfully unemployed and spent about four months enjoying mid-week beach visits, hikes, and snapping thong pics along the way.

The “bro” part came from my love of it as a term of endearment. Growing up with sisters, I never really had that brotherly dynamic, and I loved the idea, especially in the gay world, that we get to choose our bros and care for each other like family. I also liked how it blended the femininity of bottoming and wearing thongs with masculinity.

I was doing all of this anonymously at first too, so I wanted a pseudonym that was fun and a little suggestive. And that’s how AussieThongBro was born.

Now, three years on, it’s served me well, and in a way, it’s served its purpose.

The game has changed. There’s not really anywhere to post thong pics anymore. On Instagram they’re too sexy, on X they’re not sexy enough, and honestly, it’s probably not why most people subscribe to OF or JFF anyway.

I’m also enjoying simply sharing myself more, rather than feeling like I’m playing a character. So it feels like the right time to move forward and head into 2026 simply as @zacbarrett.
