My recipe for pourover is pretty relaxed when I'm just making coffee for myself. There are a lot of variables at play, so I just like to feel it out and allow for wiggle room. At the end of the day, all that matters is you like the flavor.
Ingredients: 20g ground coffee, 300g water
🌹bloom: pour 30-60g water over the grounds. Swirl, and let sit for 30-60 seconds
💦 Next, pour enough water over the grounds that the liquid level is roughly half the height of the pourover cone. Wait for water to draw down to just above the level of the grounds.
🔁 repeat this step until you've poured 300g of water.
Note: it's actually a lot harder to do this while jacking off and pouring water from my non-dominant hand
