I could feel your gaze even before I saw you

There are just those moments when you realize someone is watching your every move

I keep working out, pretending to be focused, but I slow down on purpose, as if to see if you can handle it 😄

At some point, I catch your gaze in the mirror and don’t look away

“Do you always watch so intently… or is today a special day?”

I step closer, wiping my palms with a towel, and stop right next to you—too close for it to be an accident
