I almost closed the door, but for some reason I stopped

I don’t know why, but I had the feeling someone was watching me

I slowly ran my fingers along the doorknob, leaving the door slightly ajar

as if by accident, as if it meant nothing 😄

But I know you’re there, and you know that I know

I take a step further into the room, not closing the door all the way

Giving you that little… all too tempting angle

And I whisper, barely turning around: “Is that all you dare to do?.. Just watch?”

Silence, but it speaks louder than words
