Today I noticed a yellow leaf on the pavement. Just one. Among the greenery. It lay there and seemed to say, "I've come to remind you." To remind you that everything is changing. That summer will soon be over. That you need to enjoy the warmth while it lasts. I picked it up, twirled it in my hands, and smiled. Autumn will be beautiful. But for now, I'm still here, in August 😌
