I went to the water 💦

It was late afternoon, when the sun no longer blazed but gilded everything around. I took off my shoes and waded into the water ankle-deep. It was warm, like fresh milk. I sat on the sand and watched the sun creep beyond the horizon. There was silence inside. No "have to," "must," or "make it." Just me, the water, and this orange light. I realized that sometimes happiness is simply being in the right place at the right time🤤
