That night when I fell asleep with my phone in my hand 📱
It was a couple of weeks ago. I was waiting for your message. You know how it is—you know someone's busy, everyone's busy, but inside you still glimmers of hope: ""Please write.""
I was lying in bed, rereading our old conversations and smiling. Some messages were funny, some were warm, and some still give me goosebumps.
Then I simply fell asleep. Phone in hand, with the chat open, where the last message was mine.
And in the morning I woke up and saw: you wrote. At 3 AM. ""Are you sleeping? I wanted to tell you that my day was crap, and your photos this morning made it better. Thank you.""
I almost cried then. Because in that moment I realized: we really are there for each other. Even like this, through a screen, through distance, through the time difference.
My phone still lies under my pillow. A small reminder that somewhere out there, there's someone who thinks about me at night.
Do you often text me when you can't sleep? Or do you just wait silently for the morning? 💫
