I realized something.
We love to think life is simple.
Black or white.
Yes or no.
Love or nothing at all.
But the truth is…
the most dangerous, intoxicating things in life
have never been that clear.
They live somewhere in between.
Between wanting and allowing.
Between “I shouldn’t”… and “but I will.”
Between who we were
and who we’re slowly becoming.
And maybe…
it’s not the black that ruins us,
or the white that saves us.
Maybe it’s the grey —
the soft, quiet, undefined space —
where we actually feel something real.
Because in the end,
life isn’t about choosing sides.
It’s about learning how to exist
in all those beautiful, confusing, irresistible shades in between.
