A century-old banner from the OddFellows before it's on its way out of the door. Gotta admit, the Odd Fellows really have the iconography on lock.

The chain represents Friendship, Love and Truth and the eye represents having an objective eye with through which you view the world.

Not dissimilar from the Free Masons, the Odd Fellows were named after exactly what it sounds like: a rugged band of odd fellows who didn't have an existing group to join so way back in the 1700s they formed chapters of their own, with more elaborate rituals and roles expanding into the late 1800s/early 1900s.
