**Happy Labor Day! **

**Today's fact: **
The very first Labor Day was held on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City when nearly 10,000 workers marched in a historic street parade to demand fair pay, shorter hours, and safer workplaces.
Oregon was the first state to make it an official public holiday in 1887. President Grover Cleveland signed it into law as a national federal holiday in 1894.
