A little something more intimate than what I usually share on here…

When I was about 14, John Elliott taught me this song. He was one of the co-writers, and it was originally written to be considered for The Notebook—specifically that beautiful scene where Noah takes Allie out on the lake surrounded by swans. It ultimately wasn’t chosen for the film, but he taught it to me all those years ago, and somehow I’ve never forgotten it.

Lately it’s just been sitting in my head again, so I figured I’d finally share it with you guys.

Something a little softer, a little more personal, and a piece of me most people have never heard. 💪 🎹
