Dispersed camped for the first time…I found some of the most beautiful spots and disconnected from the world for a moment. I’m surprised I saw no rattlesnakes. In these parts of the mountains, there’s also little to know ticks. Which is a GREAT thing to note. However, there are a ton of bears. YET, I didn’t see any…I got lucky. Realllllly lucky. We didn’t have a bear box….but yogi bear must have heard my brother in law snoring all night. Warned him off 🤣

It was also my very first time “off-roading”… sorta… 🤣🤭 My 2wd made it down some of the less challenging roads, but I did it! I even drove down a one lane pass for 50 miles @ 7,000 feet!!! Rugged, one the side of a cliff, tons of pot holes and cars coming on down. I took all my overland knowledge and put it to the test. And passed with flying colors….🏆🌟
