I feel like most of you guys didn't know about it! I spent two years there ๐ŸŒด I came at a time when I felt tired of trying to fit into places that never really felt like home. I wanted space and Costa Rica gave me that.
Mornings started slow. Coffee on a small balcony while the air was still cool โ˜• I loved walking barefoot whenever I could even if it was just down the street. My favorite place was the beach early in the morning, before anyone else showed up. The ocean felt so peaceful and gave me the right amount of relaxation๐Ÿคค just the sound of waves and birds. Iโ€™d sit there and feel small in a good way. I also loved the little things. Roadside fruit stands and warm rain that came out of nowhere ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

It wasnโ€™t perfect. I got lonely and I missed people. Some days were hard and quiet in a way that hurt. But I learned how to sit with myself... How to slow down.

When I left I took more than memories with me. I took confidence and peace. And the understanding that home isnโ€™t always a place โ€” sometimes itโ€™s a feeling you carry with you.

I donโ€™t live there anymore but a part of me still does ๐ŸŒŠ And I think that version of me is the reason Iโ€™m so comfortable being myself now.
