Throwback to January 2016 to what I look like now.
Planning a comeback for 2026!
The comeback is always stronger than the setback. ⚓️
The last two years have been the hardest of my life. Between caregiving through family illnesses, navigating deep loss, and the monumental task of clearing out my late father’s hoard, my own health took a back seat.
I’m 20 lbs heavier than my "peak," but I’m also a lot wiser.
When life gets heavy, fitness usually falls off the priority list. But I’ve realized that to take care of everything else, I have to take care of the engine first. I’m moving away from "chasing abs" and moving toward sustainable longevity. The goal for this chapter:
1️ Consistency over intensity.
2️ Nutrition that fuels, not just restricts.
3️ Prioritizing mental health and healthy aging.
If the abs come back, great. But for now, I’m just happy to be back in the game. To anyone else who has been through the ringer lately: It’s okay to start over. Let’s get to work. 👊
