I went on a little weekend trip along the coast in hopes to see the wildflowers!! They only come out for spring and every year they’re different, depending on how much rain and sun we’ve had. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t ideal for the flowers, it was very overcast and colder than expected so the flowers weren’t opening fully but it was still so beautiful 💗

It was hard to capture in pictures but the scenery was absolutely gorgeous! Also I saw way more animals and birds than I expected. I saw ostriches, zebra, a few different types of bucks, even a mongoose, lots of harrier hawks and kites too.

On the way back today I stopped at a fossil site which was really cool! I went on a guided tour and learned so much!! Also stopped at a farm stall and restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had a small aviary too. Such beautiful parrots and macaws.

I hope you like these pics!! 💗
