I don't think we become better versions of ourselves overnight. I think it happens quietly, through the little things we choose to do every day. Every stretch, every deep breath, every moment I spend moving my body reminds me that I'm also taking care of my mind. The more I listen to my body, the more I learn to listen to myself. My breathing becomes calmer, my movements become softer, and somehow that same feeling follows me into the rest of my life. I have come to the realisation that our habits shape so much more than our bodies. They shape our thoughts, our energy, the way we respond to the world, and even the way we carry ourselves when nobody is paying attention...
For me, yoga and movement have never been about looking a certain way, they've always been about feeling connected to my breath, to the present moment, and to the quiet part of myself that often gets lost in everyday life 💞☀️
