The Silent Striker: Part II

Haohao woke to a tighter, more suffocating restraint. The long-sleeve black compression clung to his tattooed arms, accentuating every line and curve. Ropes bound him again, now pressing painfully into his chest and wrists. Tape sealed his mouth, a blindfold and earmuffs shut out the world.

A soft click echoed. Luo Jian’s shadow loomed. “Thought you could outshine me, huh?” he whispered. Fingers traced the ropes, tightening them with deliberate precision. “Let’s see how you play when you can’t move… or speak.”

Haohao thrashed, muscles straining against the unyielding ropes. The compression shirt restricted him further, leaving him acutely aware of every limitation. Each tug only made the bindings bite deeper. His mind raced—his team, the crowd, the championship—while his body remained utterly trapped.

Outside, cheers and shouts punctuated the game. Haohao’s team fought on, but their star striker was gone. Fury and helplessness burned through him. The black compression clung like a second skin, a reminder of how meticulously he’d been neutralized.

Luo Jian’s laughter faded. Haohao was alone. Silent. Bound. And yet, even in darkness, the striker’s spirit refused to break.

Tonight, he was a prisoner. But every muscle tensed with the promise: this wouldn’t last.
