Continuing my 2025 recap — August.
Oh wow… August was insanely eventful.
It started with a short trip to Amsterdam with my bestie Susana. We went mainly for Europe’s biggest vintage market—because I love vintage clothes. I’m not really into big, popular brands; I prefer high-quality pieces with history and character. Amsterdam itself was peaceful, fun, and effortlessly cool. Honestly, one of the best European cities I’ve ever been to.
Then… plot twist. I got deported from the U.S. Not fun at all. I’ll share more about it when I’m ready—it’s still a very sensitive topic for me. Because of everything happening, I also went through a little mini breakup with my situationship. Rough timing, to say the least.
After that, I escaped to the Dolomites to heal—my absolute favorite place in Europe. If you ever get the chance to visit, don’t think twice. It’s pure magic.
And finally, in true cope by fulfilling dreams fashion, I decided to do something I’d always wanted to do: I went to Tanzania to witness the Great Migration—the largest migration of mammals in the world. I love animals so much; I literally watch Animal Planet every night before bed.
I wish I could show you more photos from the safari, but unfortunately animal photos aren’t allowed here. I hope you understand.
August was chaos, healing, heartbreak, and dreams—all rolled into one.
