2025 Recap — May!

May was so nice. The weather in California officially turned spectacular, and I was fully in my outdoors era—long hikes, beach days, fresh air, all of it.

I also flew to Florida for a week to visit some old friends who were my mentors back in college in the business program and somehow turned into lifelong best friends over time. While I was there, they gave me my very first golf experience. And honestly? I kind of loved it. Riding around, enjoying the Florida weather, casually trying to put balls into holes (hehe)… but seriously—golf is hard. Way harder than it looks.

Toward the end of the month, I took a short trip to Sequoia National Park. If you’re not from the U.S., Sequoias are the largest—and some of the oldest—trees on Earth. This was my second time there, and I was completely blown away all over again. Those trees are unreal.

Overall, I love California for its nature. Between you and me… Los Angeles kind of sucks. It’s dirty, dangerous, and expensive. But Northern California? Absolutely breathtaking.

My favorite spots: Lake Tahoe and the Monterey Bay Area—famous for its adorable sea otters. 🦦
