So my birthday is a week from tomorrow (Sept 30) and I turn 28🎉 I had a very, very rough year being 27. In the past I was financially broke, didn’t come from any handouts. I had multiple instances where I thought my life was over. Eventually, I got myself out of it and found myself excelling in life. Everything was great, I was at the top of the world… and then… I lost it all. All of it. At 27, this past year I lost everything. I went broke again, had some failed businesses, had to financially support loved ones, and in turn went through a very major mental health crisis. I felt broken and defeated😔 I put on a lot of weight that I eventually committed to losing and reached my goal. I bleached my hair blonde as a way to feel a fresh start and leave all that negativity in the past…
As I turn 28 next week, I plan to fully leave year 27 in the past. I was at rock bottom, and believe me I’m still not out but one thing I gained at rock bottom was a positive and optimistic mindset that good things CAN happen. I got out of this hole once and I’ll do it again. So I plan to go into year 28 as a strong, experienced, optimistic man relentless to build a living for himself and whoever decides to stick around with me💪🏼
