Bursting the Seams: Wedding Guest Dress Try-On, Length: 22:48

It’s not every day you realize your closet can’t keep up with you..

but today, standing in front of my mirror with a pile of “wedding guest” dresses, I can feel it before I even try the first one on.

The zipper catches at my back.. the seams hug tighter than they ever used to.. and each dress tells the same story: I’ve outgrown them. My belly rounds forward in smooth, heavy curves. My hips pour over the sides, plush and wide. The fabric clings, bunches, and sometimes just refuses to close.

I take my time, letting you see every tug, every wiggle, every moment where the dress and I are locked in a slow, sweet struggle. Some I manage to squeeze into, even if they dig in and leave marks.. others never make it past my hips at all.

By the end, I’m flushed, breathing deep, and very aware of just how much I’ve filled out since the last time I wore them. Every failed fit is proof of how far I’ve come.. and how much more there is to grow.
