Happiness
I used to be miserable, and I mean fucking miserable. I was anxious every single moment that I was awake, I had panic attacks daily and was so depressed I could barely get out of bed to eat. Around 18 months ago I got the news that I was going to become a father, in one moment everything changed. I knew I had to do better and become healthy to be able to give my kid a good life.
I threw out everything that was possibly making my life worse, I got sober, kicked habits like nicotine and slowly formed a routine, I took walks and exercised, took care of my diet and overall just taking care of myself mentally and physically.
I practiced being thankful for the life that I was given, no matter what happened or what was going on I always told myself “One day I’ll know why I had to go through what I’m going through” and that made my struggles considerably more tolerable. I slowly developed a mindset where I am good enough but at the same time I can still do better.
With this new way of living every single thing in my life started improving and I started reaching the goals I set for myself. I truly believe that the key to happiness is being thankful for who you are and what you have, reaching the goals you set for yourself and having faith that everything will turn out okay.
