Today, I ran into someone from my past at a coffee shop. We hadn’t seen each other for several years, yet we ended up talking for nearly two hours. There was no awkwardness—just two people with a shared history. We said goodbye with a smile. It made me realize how important it is, every now and then, to look back and see just how far you’ve come.
