There are creators from so many countries, people filming content, selling merch, meeting fans, and making new connections. You could honestly spend the entire day just walking around and introducing yourself to people.

I met another creator who has her own production company, and I got to see how some of the girls handle their booths. They sell signed photos, merchandise, and other little items directly to fans. Some creators have really thought through the whole experience and turned it into something much bigger than simply taking pictures with people.

I also noticed that some fans are perfectly happy to pay for photos and souvenirs, while others aren’t as interested. It was interesting to see how much that can vary between creators and audiences.

Buut we spend ages traveling back and forth, and that means less time networking, exploring, and meting people. Next year I’m having a hotel near the convention for the actual event days even if it costs more. I’d rather spend that time meting people than sitting on transport..

I’m already making a mental list of everything I’d do differently next time haha
