Hey everyone! I'm really sorry...
I'm not as active as I should be these days. I'm really trying my best, but I'm almost burnt out (yeah, again). You may or may have not heard about that Loi Intégrale stuff happening in France. Big law and big aims, one of which would be the criminalization of online sexwork. You heard that right. I'm about to lose my job.
This is why I'm taking political action. You know that debunking abolitionnist propaganda and informing about my job has been something I've done for about two years, now, on my socials. It's given me some kind of authority, in the mediatic field, when it comes to sexwork. And so, when this loi intégrale bullshit happened, I had to stand for my rights and my colleagues'. I've given a lot of interviews (even with Blast, France Info, TF1 and Libé, 4 of the biggest French medias), calls, talks, even auditions with parliaments members!
I've also created a little groupe, the CATTS (Online Sexworkers Action Group would be a good translation), to gather people and organize our resistance. It's kind of crazy what we're accomplishing in so little time and so little ressources.
Obviously, I'm drained. This demands a LOT of work and traveling. On October 1st, my colleagues and I will do a little strike right before the law is voted. We hope for the best.
I really hope I can get back to work soon, I do miss my little routine. But I'm on jeopardy, I literally risk losing my job. If you want to do a little searching, "loi intégrale article 25" is the way to go. This was applied in Sweden last year. It really didn't end well for our Swedish girlies.
Love you, I have some collabs coming for you, and I hope things will calm down next week, right after my birthday. I'll post more and answer messages more often then.
Thank you for supporting me. I don't say it often, but it does mean a lot. You're why I'm where at in life.
